One of my favorite Halloween memories was my dad helping us carve our pumpkins.

Halloween memory--I remember that my dad would always take us trick or treating and my mom would stay home to answer the door-as soon as we'd get home my brother and I would dump out the candy and split the candy into our pumpkins what each of us likes and then put a bowl for candy we don't like into it and tell our dad that's his candy only.

Finding a costume was always one of my favorite things about Halloween.

Halloween was always a holiday I spent with Amy, we have been friends since I was in Kindergarten (she was in 1st grade) One of my favorite years was when there was a freak MN blizzard and we trick or treated in the snow and then had a sleep over since school was canceled the next day.

I remember my mom made me wear this stupid Halloween costume which was a present. It was a HUGE box. A whole for my head and one for each arm. She decorated it in Chistmas wrapping paper and I wore a red bow on my head. So when I went trick or treating, I could not move my arms in front of me to get the candy. I had to turn to the side. I felt so stupid! The houses I went to said, you look so cute. I did not think I looked cute. I said, my mom made me wear this. I now look at Christmas presents in a different way.
