Stargazing at the Behlen Observatory near Mead. Visitors will be able to view a variety of objects in space through Behlen's 30-inch telescope and with smaller telescopes set up outside the observatory. These objects include the planets Jupiter & Uranus, two kinds of star clusters, double or mutiple stars and the Ring Nebula in Lyra. A member of the staff will give an illustrated talk about objects in the autumn sky. This is a FREE event. Go here for driving directions.
