Mouthwatering Mondays - Mom's Chicken Pie

Chicken Pie

Saute' together:
2 T butter
1/4 cup diced onions
1/4 cup thinly sliced celery

Filling mix:
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup shredded cheddar
1/3 cup sour cream
2 Tbl mayonnaise (better than Miracle Whip)
1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
1/2 tsp garlic powder
salt/pepper to taste
2 cups chopped chicken or turkey (add last)

Mix filling together, then add saute' mixture. Pour into an unbaked pie shell (deep dish). Bake at 350 for 45 min or until knife inserted comes out clean. Allow to sit and cool about 10-15 min before serving.
